Leeds CCC Camp |
|
[Red Cliffs] [Hurricane Valley] [East Area Homepage] In the depression years about 1933, the CCC provided much needed employment for the nations youth. Many of the bridges and guard structures in Zion Park were built by the CCC. A restoration project is under way in Leeds to restore one of the old camps. To get there take the freeway from St. George to Lees. Take the Leeds exit and you will see a sign about three blocks up the road on your left.
