Huntington Canyon Scenic Byway

from Huntington over the mountain and through Schofield

This byway makes a great loop out of Huntington, up to the tops of the mountains and then across through Schofield and pass the reservoir and back to the main road between Price and Provo. The loop takes about an hour and a half to complete.

Huntington Canyon

The Canyon follows this wonderful stream along highway 31 to the tops of the mountain past electric lake and cleveland reservoir. Then it turns on Hwy 96 and goes through the town of Schofield and past the reservoir to rejoin Hwy 6.

Schofield Cemetery

This cemetery and its wooden grave markers are a reminder of the men who were killed in the Schofield mine disaster.
